We know you might think it odd this blog doesn't accept submission. However, this doesn't mean you can't get on this blog, just the how-to is a little different. Should this ever change, we will post it here first.

In November 2011, we started The Log Line Blog. No one knew us but there were authors who lined up to take a chance on our little blog. The first year was fraught with issues. The template didn't work right on several occasions. The blog's founder, Lynn Crain, had a serious illness that required hospitalization. Picasa changed and none of the covers showed for a while. Yet, the authors kept coming and our reputation grew.

In November 2012, we decided to see if we could do it again and started The Book's Blurb Blog. The blog fulfilled our wildest dreams but alas, those dreams were short lived. On November 27, 2012, The Book's Blurb Blog was tagged by the Google bots as a spam blog and it took us weeks to get the blog back.

During the months of September through November 2012, we started formulating an idea to offer low cost promo to authors. As these ideas were coming to fruition, we decided to start another blog for those authors who had taken a chance on us. A blog where the only submissions were those already accepted at our blogs elsewhere. These authors deserve all the best and if we could give them a little more in the way of free promotion, we were going to do it.

Out of this desire, The Book Cover Blog was born. All people will see is the cover. That cover is then linked to a buy link the author provided us via their normal submission. This blog is part of our Pay-It-Forward project of helping authors to great FREE promotion of their work.

But we weren't done yet. While the desire to keep both The Log Line Blog and The Book's Blurb Blog going, the work was tremendous and slowly fell by the wayside because it's hard to get people to send information on time and to keep things running smoothly. Still, that didn't deter us and we were on the outlook to find easy ways to help authors promote their books. In May of 2013, we felt we found the perfect way to do that through a weekly blog hop and My Sexy Saturday was born.

My Sexy Saturday is everything we want and more. We have a dedicated group of authors who continually help each other by tweeting and facebooking each others weekly content for the blog hop. Drop by if you want free promo for your books at www.mysexysaturday.blogspot.com. Everyone has their idea of sexy and we'd love to see yours.

Because of the success of that venture, The Log Line Blog (www.theloglineblog.blogspot.com), The Book's Blurb Blog (www.thebooksblurb.blogspot.com) and this blog, A Book Cover Blog (www.abookcoverblog.blogspot.com) are back for the authors that participate in the weekly blog hop at My Sexy Saturday.

Please enjoy the covers here...and constructive comments are always welcome. Thanks and we hope to see you here sometime in the near future!
